How to Prepare for Your First Bin Cleaning

Jan 15, 2023 | Tips & Tricks

Ah, the big one. This is where you go from smelly your trash bin every day (I mean, seriously, you had seafood for dinner the other night). To, a trash bin that makes you want to throw out the trash.

Maybe it’s your first of many bin washes, or maybe it’s just a one-time situation (okay, we get it, you have a nice hose with lots of water pressure – we’ll do the gross part.) You’re going to rush to your bins and be overjoyed to bring them back to their home.

The Steps to Success

STEP 1: Leave your bin at the curb, after the trash has been picked up. If your bin obstructs roadways, sidewalks, or other methods of travel, it’s best to bring it in for the night and back out the next morning. Don’t worry, we’ll send you an email reminder the day before. (Remember, it only happens once a month.)

STEP 2: Check your email frantically every 5 minutes waiting for the email that your bins have been cleaned.

STEP 3: You check your doorbell camera and see that your bin is taking a bath. (If you get a good shot, we’d love to see it!)

STEP 4: You rush home after work and give your bins a big hug – but then you remember that they’re still trash bins and we probably shouldn’t hug them.

The end. Oh wait, no it’s not. We’ll be by to clean your bins again!!!
